Great indoor activity!!! We stayed during what was probably the hottest time of the year and so I wanted to do something indoor with my kids. The plan was to let them decorate and have fun. However, once we arrived, I decided to get in on the fun as well. The 3 of us decorated an item and it was a great experience.

It was pouring rain on the morning my two twenty-ish-year-old kids and I went. I expected it to be busy, and it was, but we were greeted right away and instructed in what to do. So many pottery pieces and colors of paint to choose from! There was an idea book on the table for various techniques to try, but we didn't spend the time to look into them. The staff were attentive enough despite the crowd. Our pieces ($50ish in total) were ready to be picked up the very next evening. My son said he enjoyed it more than he anticipated, and was glad I "made him" go with us. I definitely want to go again and maybe try a larger piece.

An island must. A little expensive but a great way to make your own souvenirs.

We visit Port A 3+ times a year and usually with kids. This time we had out 5, 7 & 9 year olds and grandma so we decided to try this place out to get out of the sun for a few hours and see if we could get the kids to sit still for a little while. We ended up there for a few hours, and it was great. The kids were so focused on their art that my wife and I actually had time to make our own piece which is now a precious work of art sitting on our mantle. This will be an annual tradition for us.
