I have dealt with this company for the last 3 decades. Jim, and his staff are the best. That's the simple reason I've dealt with the for almost 30 years. The reason for this review ... the kicker ... happened on August 10th, 2018 when our home A/C quit. I knew they would be run off their feet fixing commercial customers. Boyd (awesome dude) told me they would try to make it out to our place. They did. Chris (37.7C outside wearing canvas overalls and NOT complaining) finds and corrects the problem ... with a smile?! Wow. Since I've known Jim for almost 30 years (and I never mentioned this to the tech that came out to fix the A/C) I casually asked if Jim was still actively working in the company. The answer came immediately, "He's the hardest working one in the outfit!". This from a guy wearing canvas overalls in 37.7C. I simply can't recommend Central Refrigeration enough. Awesome service, awesome staff, awesome owner.

Incredible Service & A/C System! Our family is so happy with our new Central air conditioner. We would highly recommend Jim’s services. Jim came to our home and figured out the best unit for our house. My wife has MS and has a hard time regulating her body temperature in the hot summer months. Jim & his team where efficient and responded in a timely manner. The new air conditioner has given Amanda the ability to function daily in our home. Jim and his staff did a very professional job, and we highly recommend Central Refrigeration to assist you!

*CAUTION!* MAKE SURE TO GET THE QUOTE YOU ARE REQUESTING IN WRITING AS 'ALL IN' DOES NOT MEAN WHAT IT IMPLIES AS PER JIM! Previously Jim came and did a full inspection inside and out of the house before quoting the supply and install of an a/c unit. He then quoted me a price 'ALL IN' and asked me if I knew of an electrician in the area for the job, I gave him a name and he knew the electrician I had mentioned. Jim called the electrician and set up the time (as they all showed up at the same date/time as I never called to set that up) They met here and completed the job! Work was completed as promised and I paid the 'ALL IN' invoice in full! Seven months after the work was completed and I paid the 'ALL IN' Invoice at that time, I received another Invoice for $373.00 from the electrician for work done during the install!? When I got the invoice I called Jim @ Central and explained what was on the Invoice I just received and I said You had told me 'ALL IN' and he explained his 'ALL IN' Meant everything other then what the Electrician was charging!! See as a home owner I am not versed on what 'ALL IN' means and once again an unsuspecting and trusting home owner gets screwed! When someone quotes you (ie: Jim), they are giving you their word, you (Jim) should stand behind it and not cower away and shrug off responsibility and stick the customer with the extra cost or tell them 'ALL IN' does not include charges from another company being the electrician in this circumstance! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS COMPANY AND THE OWNER JIM!!

Trusted and recommended. Used to add to a system installed by another company and have continued to rely on their trusted workmanship and fair rates.
