One Awesome company

Dan and his crew installed a new furnace fixed hot water tank and added gas line for my Barbq at our cottage in Mulhurst Bay. A reasonable price on time and efficient. I must say I would highly recommend Dan and his team very neat work and Dan explains the whole process . Not just another yellow page company. Support your local contractors... Thanks Dan!!!

My initial contact did not garner a response. I then called him directly and he made a visit a week later. Then he said he’d get to it next week…never did and no communication from him. Three weeks after initial contact, nothing done except hold a carrot over my head. Don’t waste your time and breath on him.

I was quite disappointed in my interaction with Dan. While getting estimates for some upcoming projects I was speaking to Dan and our talks were productive and promising at first as he seemed more engaged than other contractors I was speaking with. He paid me a visit to sit down and table a proposal, which was basically a state of the art hydronics system which was way over and above what was necessary, especially in terms of the cost vs. benefit. He wouldn't even entertain the idea of doing the job any other way. The interaction left me feeling that he was only interested in selling me the big expensive shiny thing with all the bells and whistles, or nothing at all. I also spoke to him briefly about cold climate heat pumps, but his information on the technology seemed to be out dated as he refused to acknowledge them as a suitable system for our weather. To be fair, there has been many advancements in the technology in the last few years that he may be unaware of. Overall, I felt that he was quite rigid and close minded in his approach, and didn't come away from the interaction feeling very good about him. Based on the reviews, it seems he's great with repairs and small jobs, but I wouldn't consider him for a bigger project or new home construction.

Called this business to change a supply line in a vanity 18 minutes down the road. Charge me $450 and insisted on cash. This was during regular business hours. Didn't give me a reciept. Do not recommend.

Dan did an excellent job for us. Replaced a broken hot water valve (washing machine supply) along with a new cold water valve and hoses. He even obtained warranty replacement from the manufacturer. No wall cutting was needed, work was done quickly, and at a reasonable price. Since he was coming to our place anyway, we had him install an enhancement to our Navien in-floor heating in our garage. Good work on that job too.
