Sears sent me a “contracted” Repair person who was an independent operator. That company told me that my furnace had a cracked heat exchange and that I needed a new furnace. After feeling something wasn’t right I decided to call Bill Smith and my gut instinct was correct!!!! All it needed was a $12.88 part. The other company tried charging my warranty company to install the new furnace and also tried conning me out of another $875 in “non covered” installation fees at the last minute. They knew I was desperate for heat since the temperatures dropped to below freezing. I hope this example shows you Bill Smith is a local reputable business who does the right thing even when it doesn’t make them the most money. Thank you Bill Smith!!!!!

Outstanding, fast, reliable and super-reasonable prices. Our ac was out. We called last night. They called this am. Set us up for first appt. Tech incredibly nice and helpful. Fixed us up for about $300.00. We won't use any other company. Have helped us with our ice/maker fridge, 5 burner gas stove and now our AC. Won't use any other company.

Terrible customer service, not customer friendly. $60 trip charge & $120 an hour, or $30 for every 15 mins. Repair guy who was here made sure to stretch a 15 minute job into a 33 minute job by taking his time, sitting out in his truck for 14 minutes just to write a receipt (yes they count that as time too) to turn the job into a 45 min fee. Most repair people would have not counted 3 minutes as an additional $30. Feel very much taken advantage of. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
