I can't say enough about our experience! Jesse was absolutely fantastic! Not only did he do a fabulous job fixing the plumbing gong show we had on the go here, but he was so patient and kind with my 3.5 year old who wanted to follow him around and chat his ear off. Amazing experience! I am also pretty excited to having running water again! If we ever have another plumbing catastrophe, I will be calling you guys!

Great service from beginning to end. My call was answered immediately and both Nick and Matt arrived soon after. l was given the option of two free quotes repairing a valve. They handled the job professionally and left the workspace clean. l would recommend them. Thanks!

Even though problems seemed to get worse as Jeremy tried to clear out my sewer line, he was professional, courteous and very helpful when coming in on short notice for a Sunday afternoon emergency. I would highly recommend Jeremy again to anyone who has a plumbing problem, and in fact I will be using him again to complete a permanent repair. Thank you Jeremy from Mr. Rooter Plumbing! At a follow-up repair job, Eric came and did a superb job in repairing and explaining things to me. I'd definitely ask for Eric again by name for any future work needed. Thank you Eric from Mr. Rooter Plumbing!

In the past we have had plumbing work done and found that the rates were reasonable for parts and whatnot – this was a master plumber in our previous residence in another city. The work he did was substantial, and cost us 800 dollars. So, when I had two taps to be replaced for my washing machine, I felt that there would be a reasonable charge and rather than do it myself during this busy time, we would get a professional to do this. I wasn’t sure if the pipes needed cutting, and soldering is not my forte so in our haste we called Mr. Rooter for the sake of time. The plumber was on time, and personable and completed the work in 25 minutes. I was then advised the rubber hoses that connect to the washing machine are not adequate and should be replaced with the braded hoses and when I asked how much from him, he said it would be 280 and he is not comfortable in selling me them at that price; to which I agreed. I ended up paying 16 dollars each for the hoses at Home Hardware. The total for the work was $404 and when I went to check the work, it appeared the old valves had been unscrewed, and new ones screwed in - had If I had known this was all I had to do, I would have done it myself and paid $50 for the advice. My other issue, is the breakdown on the invoice “$219.42 for 1/2 “ sillcock, $138.84 for second one.” There is no parts cost, and no labour cost or breakdown – so there is no way of really knowing where the money went unless the parts included labour? So, with a 7x markup in parts, and an unknown labour cost, I can’t really say I would use Mr. Rooter again. The service was great, I can’t complain there, but for $808 an hour, the service better be great. I feel like I have been hosed, and can only blame myself. I was expecting the cost to be about $150, and when we were told $404, it was more or less shock, but he was there – so we thought just get it done. Also, thinking for that price, it was a big job and above my DIY skill set. I woke up today kicking myself and sick to my stomach that I just blew 400 dollars in my own ignorance. Maybe I am out of touch with rates, and it is a sign that I am getting old; if this is the normal rate for something like this, correct me and I will delete this review. *** regarding response from the owner - you have my info, if you feel it matters, you can give me a call. I have left replies to the auto-email, and also sent you an email off your website regarding my concern for your mark up with no reply to either - you should have my contact info in the system. Also, a no-obligation quote as being offered does us no good when the work has already been done? Thank you for replying to the review. Have a good day.
