I had called them to fix my furnace and they showed up and charged me for the visit saying it was running. But that was after being acclaimed twice to get them to fix it. They installed it baltand new and it has a warranty. Needless to say the wife earls rude when I called to find out where they were and she forgot to book me in like we agreed and threatened not to come out to fix it. Needless to say I still had to call back as it wasn't fixed. I needed a new walk thermostat so it would turn on. That cost even more for another visit. Than when I got the bill they added the bill that my ex had with them and told me I had to pay it even thought it was his to get my furnace running again. Than when the main furnace went out I had to call and got a bigger bill saying the warranty doesn't cover it. I also had to pay cash. Without a shone they never fixed it again but charged me for a second visit for that as well. Needless to say even though the guy said he would let us know why the firsnace wouldn't stay running after the first visit he never returned. The wife was rude yet again. Denying everything. The furnace still isn't running the way it should but they are dragging out the repairs and saying it will cost me more money. This company would be the last I call to get it installed. Rip off artist should be their name.

I know this is long but PLEASE READ IT ALL. So to start off we just bought our first house and the central A/C did not work, so we contacted Oakridge heating and cooling in Petawawa Ontario for a free estimate (it says on their website FREE ESTIMATE ON ALL HVAC PROJECTS) on how much it would cost to fix it. They failed to arrive at our place on the date that had been booked, so we booked another date. On that occasion they did in fact make it to our place and told us that we needed a new furnace, and gave us a quote on a new furnace and ALL the plumbing and duct that will be needed and that they could not tell what is wrong with the A/C until that is done. With that info we got them to install a new furnace. great right? NO After the guy installed the new furnace he said that we needed a new thermostat and about 10 feet of duct work for the cold air return and to connect the two vents and said the furnace will not work right if we don’t do it. We told him that should have been in the quote. But he informed us that it in fact was not. He also looked at the A/C and said he knew nothing about A/C and said they will send the A/C guy out the look at it. So we waited and waited and waited, finally we gave up and called them. We booked another appointment for the A/C guy to give us free estimate (it says on their website FREE ESTIMATE ON ALL HVAC PROJECTS). While I was on the phone with them I thought, hey I could get the estimate on duct work for the cold air. When they told me it would be $1000.00 I then informed them that is outrageous and how could they even come up with a number like that as the parts would be maybe $200. So needless to say our uncle did it for nothing. So back to the A/C guy, Oh wait, where is he? He never showed up again. Now being really close to winter we gave up on them and the A/C. After a very long cold winter when it's just starting to get warm up, A/C popped in my head and I thought "hey maybe we could try for that free estimate (it says on their website FREE ESTIMATE ON ALL HVAC PROJECTS)". So I called and booked an appointment with them, and the guy was going to show up anytime between 9-12. So with me working days and my wife working night shifts, she got home at 6:30 am after a 12 hour shift and had to stay awake and wait for Oakridge to show up. At 12:00 her being dead tired, called Oakridge to see where the A/C guy is. After they informed my wife that that they did not book the appointment and nobody was able to come. You could imagine that she was a little pissed off, So I called and booked another appointment for after 3:30 pm when I get home so my wife did not have to stay up waiting again and told them that we are getting a little pissed off. So the appointment day comes, and let me remind you that my wife works night and we told them that too. The A/C guys call my wife at 10 am and again at 1 pm to see if he can come earlier the 3:30. So now with my wife awake from phone calls she tells them to come over. So they so up, and start working on the A/C but wait... There is another Oakridge guy here. He says that he is here to do the yearly service on the furnace which is needed to keep the warranty valid, which they did not inform us of. So my wife says if its needed then you better do it. Now after about an hour or so into the free estimate (it says on their website FREE ESTIMATE ON ALL HVAC PROJECTS), the A/C guy says that it need to be topped up with freon and dye to see where its leaking from and asked if it was ok. we said ok. So he does that and they all leave. Now with us being nice and cold in the house waiting for our bill for Oakridge that we think is going to be at the most $200 because most of the time spent on the A/C was free estimate (it says on their website FREE ESTIMATE ON ALL HVAC PROJECTS) we heat up a lot when we receive a bill for $530... so when I go in to pay the bill I asked "why so high when most of the time spent on the A/C was part of the estimate" she tell me " We do not do free estimate but (it says on their website FREE ESTIMATE ON ALL HVAC PROJECTS)
