Had a good experience with salesmen, how ever I had a bad experience with the women that was a bookkeeper/ salesperson about some part of my purchase of a water pump. She was totally rude after inserting herself in the conversation I had with the gentleman helping. Her attitude towards the public should be looked at.

We contacted West Coast Plumbing and signed a work order to have them replace our sump pump. Their work order states "You, the buyer, may cancel this transaction at any time prior to midnight on the third business day after the date of this transaction." We cancelled the next day and were then informed that we would be responsible for the "shipping and handling" charges of the pump. West Coast Plumbing put a lien on our house for $110 until we paid them the shipping and handling charges. The plumber we did hire to do the work had a pump in stock and installed it the following day. I doubt West Coast will reimburse us for the shipping and handling charges when the pump is sold to another party. What an easy profit for them! We highly recommend you hire someone who will HONOR their contract.

West Coast Plumbing has nice things and it's a local store, so I was happy to give them my business. However, after dealing with them, I will never go back, and I will never encourage anyone else to go there. My husband bought a lovely, somewhat overpriced faucet there but once he brought it home, it was obvious that it physically wouldn't fit because the kitchen has a little ledge in the way. All he did was take part of the faucet out and hold it in place. He didn't even touch most of the parts. So, we bring it back to the store, within the 10 days allowed by their return policy, and they wouldn't take it back. They found a tiny scratch on the plate that gets covered up by the faucet. There was no negotiating, and not even any friendly apology about it. They were just unreasonable. So, to break down my complaints: 1. Expensive 2. Unfriendly 3. Closed on Saturday and Sunday 4. Strict return policy (10 days, for crying out loud!) 5. Unreasonably high standards for returns (seriously, it was a miniscule mark that would not even be visible once it was installed).
