Called Mel Sartain about a Saturday morning clogged kitchen sink (after my futile efforts with a hand snake). He came over promptly, gave us a fair quote up front, and completed the drain cleaning thoroughly and swiftly. A high level of courtesy and professionalism from start to finish. I highly recommend Sartain Plumbing.

I called Sartain Plumbing's office on Friday night at around 5:30pm, and was put on a fairly long hold. When his (I'm assuming) wife finally came on the line, she took my name, number, address and my problem which was a main line blockage. It had been raining cats and dogs all day and my wife and I were battling some water intrusion in our detached cottage/bedroom, when we discovered the WC's in the main house weren't flushing. She said that Mr. Sartain would call us back. I didn't have a lot of hope....but Mr. Sartain did call back in about 20 minutes. His first name is Mal or Mel, and it was a little hard to understand him because of the rain and the connection, but I was able to get that he was on an emergency call, and it would be an hour before he got here. I was overjoyed, as the 2 other emergency plumbers I was able to get to answer the phone, couldn't get here until the next day. I never figured he'd ever get here in an hour. I had his cell number and figured I'd call him at an hour and a half. As I picked up the phone, my wife heard a car door close out front, and sure enough Mr. Mal or Mel Sartain was at the door and took care of us! He was professional in every way, reasonable considering the time of day, rain, etc., and best of all he cleared our main line blockage....which for me is the ultimate nightmare. Way to go Mal Sartain! You are our hero! He did all this in a steady downpour as well! Can't say enough about Mr. Sartain. Thank you Mal, and thank God for Service Plumbers like you....although.....you are completely stand out.
