I had a backup in my main sewer line. I called a plumbing company and they came out to clean the line. I did not tell them on the phone that my line was a least 100' foot long because I just assumed that they would come with a 100'+ snake. Well they came with a 75' one (live and learn). Anyway they found a blockage (roots) at about 72' feet and that seemed to fix the problem. 5 days go by and the same problem returns. This time I figure I better get someone with a bigger snake and have a camera put down there to find out what is going one. This time I called Bay Area Plumbing and Chuck came out with a monster snake 200' that had a 4” cutting head. Chucked snaked the line all the way to the connect. He said he found a soft blockage at 70' and another hard one at 97'. Their massive snake cut right through them both in no time and cleaned out the pipe. Chuck then put a camera down the line to see what was going on. He showed me where the blockages were. They were great, they cleared the line in 20 mins and showed me that they had cleaned out the entire line, with the camera. I am having them back every 12 months to clean my main since it is quite old (1950). I would highly recommend Chuck and Bay Area Plumbing because of their great tools and prompt service.

When we were remodeling our kitchen we ran into a problem with moving a kitchen sink. We spent hours trying to fix the leak ourselves. Around 3am we had no running water, a small lake under our home and were in a panic of what to do. At 7 a.m. I called Ron who not only answered the phone but was at my home by 8am. He was friendly, calm and knowledgeable. He had our problems addressed and under control. It turned out we were way over our heads. He quoted me a fair price and did exactly what he said he would do. I would highly recommend Ron @ Bay Area Plumbing NOW to assist you in your needs. Karen - San Ramon

I own a lot of houses in north east bay area and these guys have worked on all of them. Mostly repairing the work that the other guys have done. I never have any more problems after Ron fixes things. Recently replaced all pipes in a 3 story house with 6 bathrooms.

Don't call anyone else! Please stop wasting time and money. Plumbers are notoriously over-priced and leave without getting the job done. Ron is the light in the fog. He knows what he's doing, he'll come the day you call him, and the price is unbeatable. I've managed rental property for years - I know how difficult it is to find someone who is honest and thorough, who really knows their trade, who shows up when you need them and finishes the job, in the quickest and least expensive way possible (and cleans up afterward!). Recently, I needed a part installed on my hot water heater, and was without hot water until it could be fixed. Area plumbing firms quoted $250-$375 and wanted me to wait 3-5 days for them to show up! Ron did the work and more, suggesting (and completing) a safety repair, on the same day I called, for less than $100 and was done in 30 minutes. Since I found him, I've called him for three more jobs and referred every friend/colleague that asks me about a plumber. If you're anywhere in the Bay Area, his is the only number you'll need. Period.
