Felix Fera Plumbing is the preferred plumbing company for Trump Hollywood, a luxury 200 unit apartment building. They respond quickly with state of the art equipment and trained, professional plumbers. They have solved several construction related problems, and have updated our pool deck drainage problem, resolving years of standing water. I was really impressed, when the Owner and President of the company came out on Christmas Day himself, to clear a clogged drain, so that his staff could enjoy their Christmas Holiday. I highly recommend Felix Fera Plumbing.

I was referred to Felix Fera Plumbing by my regular plumber whose insurance was not sufficient for a condominium. Unfortunately, my experience with Felix Fera Plumbing was what we all hope to avoid---being taken advantage of and ripped off. They have a minimum fee of $142.50 to show up. I was okay with that. The job was a 5 minute job, to change a cartridge in a shower faucet that was leaking. Since the shower had no internal shut off valves the building needed to shut down the line the unit was in. The plumber showed up late, took 15 minutes in his truck, "to get his tools together", then proceeded to change out the cartridge and instructed the building maintenance to turn the water back on in the line. There was still a small leak so the plumber says to turn the water back off so he can try to clean out the body. We had to wait for the water to be turned off and drain out again, and for the plumber to go to his truck again to get steel wool or sandpaper, whatever material, to clean inside the pipe where the cartridge attaches. He then cleans out the pipe and we wait again for the water to be turned on and flowing to the unit to check the work. Now it was fine. The entire job should've been NO MORE THAN 15 MINUTES!!! Now it was an hour and 15 minutes since I escorted him to his parking place. BUT, they charge by the hour...did not know this beforehand. And since from the time the plumber arrived to now it was 15 minutes over an hour, they actually charge for an additional 30 MINUTES!!! Had the plumber done his job properly he would've brought 2 tools with him + the steel wool to clean out the pipe...which would not have taken 15 minutes at his truck to do, he would've cleaned out the body before installing the new cartridge and before instructing the water to be turned back on. When the plumber was preparing the bill and explaining the charges I told him that he should've cleaned the body before installing the new piece while the water was off for the first time. He told me that if he didn't charge me for it, he would be charged for it. I decided to try to go over it with Felix Fera, I have called his office and left messages for him 3 times over the course of 2.5 weeks, his office staff confirmed that they gave him the message, and he has not yet doneme the courtesy of a returned phone call. In my estimation, he supports this type of abuse of consumers. If you want to be ripped off, call this company and your wishes will be granted. This company is a prime example of why no one trusts plumbing contractors. I've never done an online review, but this time I felt especially compelled to do so.
