Pardo an Son came highly recommended from my neighbor who had to repipe his house last year. My home was built in 1956 and it was now my turn...Pardo and Son "John III" was on the project from start to finish with his partner Scott and they really did a great job having to tear into multiple walls as the house has very little attic space. I give them a huge thumbs up as they left and everything is back to normal in just a couple days! Very impressed!

4 hour window to show up, they didn’t. I Called them and they said they’d call me back, missed their call but called right back and they proceed to tell me that they went home and needed to reschedule then went and lied to my landlord about me and try to make me look bad, like everything was my fault. Talked to John. Said I said things that I didn’t and lied about us to our landlord. Sketchy company. Stay far far away. Horrible business

Had an appointment with a 4 hour window, 8am-12pm. I called at 12:30pm to Get an update but got voicemail. Got a call back 10 minutes later, and he finally got there at 1:15. My Home Warranty didn't cover the water heater expansion valve but still owed the $45 deductible (which was okay). Quoted $45 for the deductible and $175 for the job.... shouldn't the $45 go towards the job? Gave me a "deal" of $200 total. Seems pretty excessive for a $20 Part that took only took 35 minutes from start to finish. He did have to call in the part and have someone bring it to him but that was only another 15-20 minutes. He was gone by 2:25pm. Needless to say, I've wasted my entire morning and got charged a ridiculous price for an easy fix. Pretty sure I need to change my career because $150 an hour sounds pretty awesome! 🤦🏻‍♂️

Had a plumbing leak in the bathroom wall at a rental condo from a handyman who installed connectors wrong. Pardo and Sons came out when they said they would, and replaced not only the bad connector, but all the faulty connectors the handyman installed before they popped too. It was very clear that they know what they are doing, the plumber we got was Nick. I'm posting this review because Nick explained that Pardo and Son is now owned by the 'son', John, who was nothing if not helpful and polite on the phone. Their pricing was very fair, and lower than the other quotes I got by phone. I was hesitant to call them at first, because they do not have the best reviews, and I tend to check reviews myself before hiring. In this case, they were the only plumber available at very short notice, and I'm glad I called them. I asked Nick about the prior reviews I had seen, and he explained that under the old management, Pardo was elderly, and managing the company became difficult for him. The situation today is different under son John's management, and I think someone needs to note that in a review. I am very happy with the outcome and would not hesitate to call them again for a plumbing repair.

Made an appointment for Thursday 8/3/17. Called late Thursday, said they couldn't come Friday (not when I made appointment for). Promised me they would be here between 1-4 the next Thursday (my availability). 4pm the next Thursday (8/10), no show, no call, no answer in their office. They did good work for me on a job once, but I have no tolerance for being jerked around on my schedule. Won't be using them again.
