I wrote an earlier review, when the plumber came out and fixed our backed up sewer. I gave the PLUMBER good marks (he did very well). The reason for this review, however was the company said they were running a special...if you write a review they will send out someone to use a camera to view the line all the way to the street. Since we have a lot of roots, that sounded perfect. The camera guy scheduled and never showed up. No call. No email. Nothing. I called the branch I worked with and they assured me someone would be in touch with me right away. That was about a week ago. No call. No email. I emailed the branch to tell them that I was upset with what appeared to be a bait-and-switch, and strongly suggested they should call me if i misunderstood, else I'd feel obligated to let others know via a review. No call. No email. Minimally poor customer service (though good plumber), and border-line unethical business practice (essentially "buying" a review then not delivering)

These people "buy" their reviews which is highly unethical! I got completely ripped off. My family and I were in a rough spot with no water going down our drains and basement toilet overflowing. So I call these guys and he comes out and looks down the clean out in the front yard. "It's 565 but I'll give you a discount for a good review." What? You haven't even done anything yet and you want a good review already? All right fine. I need it done. He starts rodding out the drain (which turns out to be all brand new ovc pipe) and finds nothing. He says he'll have to get somebody else out tomorrow with a camera. Then goes in the basement and turns a valve on my main drain pipe and all the water goes down and drains start working. I paid this guy almost 600 dollars to turn a valve. He said he was rodding the pipe, maybe he was pretending I don't know, but I looked at the auger and there was nothing on it. What did I just pay for? Total scam is what I just paid for. Beware. After he left I called more plumbers and looked online some for quotes. Most quotes I got for rodding drains was around $200, and none were over $300. They charged me 565 and didn't even find anything. Always get three quotes from three different reputable companies before starting any work. This company refuses to quote over the phone which is a huge red flag. I got a response from them asking me to email my info and they would contact me about this. I emailed them right away and I hear nothing back. I email them again and they say they tried calling me. Really? I have no missed calls and no voicemails. Liars. They're just hoping I'll go away. I won't until this is resolved to my satisfaction. You ripped me off and I won't stand idle

We needed to call a plumber on short notice due to a leaky refrigerator water line and called Roto Rooter. Kyle (3269 Kyle) arrived within an hour and was quickly able to diagnose the problem. He was able to fix it properly at a very reasonable cost. His customer service and professionalism was extremely high and I would recommend him to anyone and would not hesitate to call him again for future needs.

Mike 2722 was really great!! He was knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He took great care of us, and everything is back to normal. What a relief! We are very pleased with the speed and level of service we received. We will tell all our friends about Roto-Rooter. And Yes, our troubles went down the drain! :-)

Several times over the last few years I have used ROTO-ROOTER ( for main line flushing). ROTO-ROOTER has always been on time and as far as the work they have done has always been 100% to my satisfaction. Lenard (tech) was very polite and took his time in communicating what I needed as far as to fix my problem. I have no problem recommending ROTO- ROOTER to my family and friends. I also like the idea that they are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. My friend told me to check out ROTO- ROOTER web site for money saving coupons. Also, no extra charge for holidays, nights and weekends. Works for me.
