A plumbing company that I can trust. I would recommend Preferred Plumbing to anyone.

They have come out three times to fix plumbing issues. They kindly fit me in last minute and got the jobs done quickly and reasonably priced. The last job another company quoted said they couldnt get my overflow cover off so they would need to remove and replace all pipes behind the walls and have to move my hot water heater to do it and it would cost me over 1k. Preferred Plumbing guys got the overflow plate off in two minutes, fixed the problem and only charged me a service fee, saving me 900 bucks!

Like most people who live in North Riverside we had a flooding basement that needed to get fixed and we used Preferred Plumbing to have it done. The guys there did a great job and were very professional. I rated them 3 starts instead of 5 because of the electrician they recommended to us. J & S Electric of Westchester was hired to pull electricity out to the flood control system. I didn't have a problem until after all the work was completed and then I came to find out that the outside lights in my backyard no longer worked. I called the electrician, Jeff, to come back. He looked and looked to find the problem and came to the conclusion that it was "a weird coincidence" that my lights that have worked for the entirety that I have lived in the house stopped working after he touched my electric. Then he said that a box under our deck was where he could look to see if the problem was there and to call him when we trimmed our shrubbery and cut some of the deck away so that he could reach that box. I'm sure he thought he'd never hear form me again after that request. Well I got out my measuring tape and started investigating trying to figure out where the backyard lights went to. I finally found that they went to a box in the basement. I opened it up hoping to see the problem but all I saw were a bunch of wires so I had to call the electrician Jeff back again. I showed him the box and he said the box was wired incorrectly. The REAL weird coincidence is that the wires he had to pull through the boxes to bring electricity to the flood control system came through that exact box. He then charged me $75 to correct wiring that had worked before he touched it. So he got paid twice. For the same job. My only recourse is this review and spreading the word to not use J & S Electric in Westchester unless you want to get ripped off like us. My basement no longer floods and I would recommend Preferred Plumbing but make sure to tell them you want a different electrician.

Prompt call back. On time. Quick installation. Cleaned up any mess made. Would recommend without hesitation.
