Jim is probably the most unreliable plumber you can find. If you are fond of jobs taking 10 times longer than they should and him only showing up about 10% of scheduled times, then he is your guy.

Jim sends an employee to come in and replace my girlfriends sump pump, guy just immediately goes in and does the job without explaining options and cost. Gives her no choice but to pay $780. Claims pump was $350 dollars (must be made of gold) but the exact same one is on Menards shelf for $130. Guy doesn't even give a receipt, Jim said he'll leave one in mail box. Week later no receipt, I call leave message no response. Call back no answer. Call from different number he answers. Ask him for receipt and he immediately becomes irritated and rude, I call him out for over charging and taking advantage of a 27 year old woman and this man completely lost it and cussed me out. Ha real professional Jim, you sir are a scum bag, some quality customer service buddy. He sounds like a drunken bafoon, pretty sure he was already hammered at 1:30pm when I spoke to him. All around pathetic human being and terrible experience. Moral of the story don't do business with Jim do yourself a favor and call someone else.

Absolutely the worst business I have ever associated myself with. I have lived here in Lemont since the year 1995 and it just disgusts me that this company is named and socially represents the town itself. After getting nothing but a choice to pay up for the repairs, I also didn’t receive any information about any warranty of my sub pump that was replaced without my knowledge or ok to do the replacement and was charged $350 more then what it’s worth and I knew this from a simple google search that came up as $130 sub pump from menards. So I paid $475 for a simple pump that actually costed him $130. Wow. So When I confronted Jim (the aful owner) about it, he totally with disbelief said he of course needed to make “some” kind of money off of it, that I was absolutely wrong and that I knew nothing about plumbing to have some say in it. Same time I asked Jim about some kind of receipt or proof of warranty, he said he’d make sure to drop it off, week later I finally got it. Can’t really say it’s a legal domcumented receipt, but a hand written note of the employee he sent summary of the “job” he did that was not just horriblely incorrect, but so sloppy where I needed a second pair of eyes to understand it correctly. I then called him after receiving the “receipt” and questioned him on the work and paperwork on the warranty. He swore and cussed over me, told me he’d call the cops after I asked if he’d please talk as a mature adult would, then hung up on me 3 times, couldn’t even get a word in. Call him, you’ll see how much this clown likes to ramble on, even said so by his poor employee that I had to call and question instead. This guy is absolutely so pathetic and desperate. Sad thing is, I actually needed more repairs done in my house and knew of our local customers I could have headed in his direction. In conclusion, he took advantage of not just a woman, but a customer as well that could have happened to be anyone that wasn’t familiar with plumbing. Do yourself a great favor and steer yourself away from this company!!! Already Reported to the better Business Bureau, look this company up, I wish I would of before I had anything to do with Jim. And talked with the village of Lemont. I just really want to make sure no other Lemont or locals go thru this experience I had. Very very, beyond frustrated.
