The team from Hero really wowed us from my first initial call, to the end of my service contract. Everyone was very professional, very respectable, and very knowledgeable. I liked how I received pictures and bios on everyone before I met them, during the text confirmation. Very impressive I must add. Our furnace and air conditioner looks amazing. I am so happy I took a chance on Hero. Money well spent! Excellent service from everyone. I will recommend this company to my family and friends. Well done guys! Stay blessed!

Called Hero Plumbing to attach an existing water line to the back of a brand new refrigerator and attach a shutoff valve to the water supply line. I explained exactly what needed to be done when I called them. They told me there was a fee of $70 whether they did work or not. At that point I should have known they were artists at charging for the job. I get charging a fee to get to the job. I am in a customer service business that I own. ( of which I do free consultations). What I didn’t expect was an exorbitant charge that they will not break out what they are charging for. I know the parts could not have cost more than $50 at best! The total for the install was $442. I had no choice but to go ahead with this since I am already out the $70 plus the day off work to meet with them. From now on, if I can’t get an approximate fee for a job-guess I’ll keep calling ... my advice: make them tell you what they figure the job might cost. And yes, I’ve been in the Contractor world for 35 years and know it can be done.

Great experiences with Hero! We just had Zack here for our annual tune-up. He’s not only an excellent diagnostician, but he does a great job at teaching homeowners some basic concepts to understand their heating systems. We have had consistently outstanding service from Hero technicians.

I just had a great experience with Hero. Brandon came over for a boiler tune up and arrived right on time (receiving a text update and being able to track arrival is so nice). He was clearly very knowledgeable, able to answer all of my questions and I felt that I could trust him. Turns out our 30+ year old boiler was leaking carbon monoxide so it was a much bigger ordeal than just a tune up. I was impressed by the service we received - the employees were very professional, easy to work with, and were proud of (and stand behind) the work they do. I will definitely continue to call Hero in the future for heating and plumbing issues (which I’m realizing is more often than I would like in our 102 year old house).

we had Hero, then uptown, install our AC which was one of the best household project experiences I can think of. Professional, amazing, did what they said they were going to do. That was a few years ago. Then recently we had them come fix our shower. The plumbing side of the business has ruined the once high esteem I had for this company. A part for our shower was installed incorrectly(according to the 3rd Hero plumber to take a crack at the issue). Since then I have had 3 no show appointments(6hours of waiting), no communications due to manager being in "meetings". I have emailed and called and can only get the promised call back. I don't know if things changed internally when they switched from UPTOWN to HERO but they are not living up to the company name and promise. We even signed up for the homeowners membership deal. what a waste of money that is turning out to be. Remember most people only post negative reviews which this is but they were awesome installing and prepping for our AC...Cant believe this is the same company
