I emailed Windheim with a small plumbing problem on Friday afternoon. They answered my message within the hour and met my schedule needs, arranging an appointment for a few days later. Keith was great - he called ahead of time to confirm as promised, showed up on time, and was proficient and professional. Our problem was quickly fixed and Keith was on his way less than 90 minutes later. I highly recommend Tom and his team at Windheim for any plumbing needs!

"INCOMPETENT STAFF" A simple "CLOGGED KITCHEN DRAIN" is what we were dealing with here- The worker sent out made AN ABSOLUTE MESS IN MY KITCHEN! This guy snaked the drain.... Nada! Left my home (for over an hour) to go back to the shop to pick up a much larger version... Once again... Nothing! NO SUCCESS with both attempts! He tells me that he had to stop the job otherwise this could potentially hurt the pipes in the wall that you could clearly hear him working on?? END RESULT: $300. LATER.... He tells me is owed to the company for "his work"... (UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS" TO UNCLOG MY DRAIN.... (IT GETS BETTER.....) "HIS RECOMMENDATION".... (TO CUT A HOLE IN MY LIVING ROOM WALL IN AN EFFORT TO SNAKE THE DRAIN FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL)??? THE PRICE TAG ON THIS.... BALLPARK.... $800. - $900.!!! QUESTION HERE "WINDHEIM PLUMBING".... WHAT COMPETENT PLUMBER SNAKES A KITCHEN DRAIN AT A "STARTING POINT" FROM "UNDERNEATH THE SINK"???? WHO DOES THIS??? I DON'T KNOW WHAT WAS WORSE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR COMPANY.... THE INCOMPETENCE. HOW TO DO THE JOB. THE SLOPPY JOB.... WHERE HIS ATTEMPT TO "BLOW OUT THE LINES" USING AN OPEN CONTAINER AND A SINGLE RAG.... WHICH SPRAYED THE "CONTENTS OF THE PIPES", FILTH, ETC. ALL OVER MY KITCHEN!!! JUST THE PHOTOS ALONE- WILL TURN YOUR HEAD IN ANOTHER DIRECTION. THE BAD ADVICE. UNNECESSARY TEARING DOWN OF THE HOME. LADIES.... "STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY". TAKE MY ADVICE- (NOT ONE WORD OF THIS IS EXAGGERATED) THE FINAL: I HAD AN "COMPETENT AS WELL AS HONEST" PLUMBER COME TO DO THE REPAIR.... (IT WAS REAL SIMPLE) THE JOB....20 MINUTES. (FROM START TO FINISH) THE COST OF THE JOB.... $150. DONE! UNBELIEVABLE.

Had them come out, only to tell me they can't do a simple job (putting in drain pipes under a sink). That would've been fine except that you have to pay to have them come out. How about if I start a business in which you pay me to tell you I can't do something. Seems like a good deal for the business, a bad deal for the consumer.

I received very good service from Windheim Plumbing. I called about a broken boiler was told owner would arrive in 30 minutes to give estimate and he did. (As anyone knows who deal with service companies, this is NOT always the case!) I agreed to have the job done and went to their office and received an itemized estimate/bill which also included the cost of possible complications that might arise. I was told the plumbers and boiler would be at my house at 8:30 am and they were there at 8:15! The plumber who installed the boiler was professional, knowledgeable and very courteous. He told me about a couple of problems with my radiators and made some thoughtful suggestions about other issues I had with frozen pipes. Just informational, not pushy. All in all, I had very good experience and I would highly recommend Windheim Plumbing.
