My parents recently use this company to get main drain work done on a house that is situated on a block with row homes. Not only does Ingram not live up to their name or professional service but my parents ended up having to find another plumber that knows what they are doing in order to finish the job. I wouldn’t even rate this company a one star, for starters the level of professional was horrible some of the workers cursing at my father who had to be reprimanded and speaking on the level of experience they ended up digging through not only their stairs but their patio which could have been avoided all because no one was intelligent enough to look up the city blueprint of how their main drain was situated for the homes on that block. What should’ve been a 24 to 48 hour job turned into two weeks even though we had some delays due to the weather. No one took accountability for the fact that a bad judgment call was to blame for how things were dug up in order to start the job. I would have much more respect if they took accountability for the mistake that they made when starting this job. I honestly don’t think that they knew what they were doing or they sent people who didn’t know what the hell they were doing. Now I see why this company is not on the approved list for the city. They now have to hire another plumber to come in to finish the job who knows what they are doing meanwhile they’re out of X amount of dollars as well as they have to repair their porch from Ingram’s poor planning and decision-making. When it doubt always listen to the reviews, people don’t spent time to write these kinds of reviews for nothing. Patronize this business at your own RISK!

STAY AWAY! these guys are a bunch of crooks and robbers.... I needed to have my water meter reversed. Couldn't get in touch with my plumber buddy so I called these guys for a quote. Keep in mind this is a 10 min job, real easy. Take the meter off, turn it around, put it back on. I couldn't believe they wanted to charge me $395.00 for that!!! Are you freaking kidding me?!?!?!? can you imagine if it were a more complex job? I understand wanting to make money and having competitive pricing... $120 would have been much, but i prob would have paid it out of convenience. But $395.00 for a simple 10 min job is freaking disgusting.. Use these guys at your own risk..

They are fraud and ripoff!! They try to take advantage of the elderly at their time of need. They were called in 1/19 for their services for emergency work that needed to be completed due to a gas leak in my parents home. My parents were told was given a quote based on the scope of work provided by the PGW. They also stated they would arrive at 830 am on 1/20/2017. Upon arrival on 1/20/2017, they basically said that this was sign the contract and collect " full payment". My parents stated that was not the agreement, as they do not have any heat, hot water, or cooking gas and it is 40 degrees outside! Not only that their grand daughter is their as well, so this is obviously unacceptable!!!! The " supervisor" said they could come back Monday! So my parents refused any payment, then of course the statement changed... " oh we can come back later today". It was also explained to Ingram, that PGW had some work to complete as well and their time slot was from 12-4 on 1/20/2017, however they (Ingram) needed to complete their work first! My parents gave them a partial payment for 400.00 (1/3) of the cost. PGW came and completed their work and ended up doing a lot more than initially explained or scoped. They left detail instructions on what needed to be completed, which was less then initially quoted. Ingram came back about 1:30 pm and my parents provided the new scope of work. The "Supervisor" then proceeded to instruct his employees to leave the jobsite as the work was too "complicated". Please note the new scope from PGW stated less work needed to be done by Ingram, which mean t less money for them. My parents asked for a new quote as the scope changed and Ingram refused to do the work. My mother asked for her check back, Ingram refused stating the check was already deposited and that due to the unconvinced he as keeping her money. So Ingram please be aware that our family attorney has been contacted and this will be escalated and taken through the proper channels to retrieve my parents money. Please note your business practices are horrible and a complaint with the better business bureau will be filed as well. The funny thing is my family has utilized your service multiple times in the past, although expensive the work was excellent! So to be treated this was his horrible and unacceptable. I look forward to seeing you in court to retrieve my parents 400.00. It's not about the money, it's the principal fact you tried to take advantage of people during their time of need! #bullies

I called this place on a recommendation of a friend because I have an urgent plumbing matter. The woman who answered started taking my info and then asked if I was the tenant or owner. When I said tenant, she , wanted my landlord's info. This really sort of pissed me off and made me uncomfortable because my name is on the lease, I'm the one hiring the service and paying for it, and I shouldn't have to involve anyone else unless I really want to. I told her as much, and she kept repeating "it's just for our system, it's just for the computer" and *I* kept saying "why? you can't seem to tell me WHY." She kept saying that she would be 'unable to move forward' without the information. Finally I said that if we were going to go any further I needed to talk to someone who could explain this policy to me. SUDDENLY she was all "Well, let me go ahead and push through and see if it will let me..." So she starts taking the rest of my info and then asks when I'm available. I said "I am available to be here any time you need me to be." So she says she's going to send the info out to dispatch and someone will get back to me. I asked "Well, okay, I mean..can you give me a window of when I should be expecting them? I need someone soon, not just whenever they arrive." Suddenly she's lecturing me that it's my fault because I didn't tell her a specific time I would be home! It's not like saying I can make myself available to them is the same as saying "I'll sit at home 24/7, come by randomly whenever!" The whole situation felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. I told her I didn't think it was going to work out, and she hung up the phone mid-sentence. A real grade-A classy operation here, definitely.
