top notch! expert service and knowledge

They are so helpful. They really know their stuff!

These guys know their stuff and are incredibly well stocked. I'd been to 4 places unable to get the parts and tools to solve a problem, and they had the parts, tools and knowledge in stock! I think they are a local treasure! Ignore the one disgruntled cheapskate who wanted a refund for a part he wanted to return. The fact is they'd have no way to be sure if it might have been damaged, and were right not to take a return so that they could be certain they were not going to end up selling a damaged part to their next customer.

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! HIGHWAY ROBBERY AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I needed a new cartridge for my Delta kitchen faucet and brought the old one to Kuhn's to see if they had it in stock. I had been there a few times before and found that they had a pretty big inventory. Sure enough, they had it and when he rung it up it was $49.99. I thought that seemed expensive but I admit I didn't know the going rate for Delta cartridges. When I got home I checked the internet and the exact same item was selling online for $19.99. Now I like to support my local businesses but that seemed too much of a premium to spend. I returned to the store within a half hour and wanted to return the cartridge which was unopened. The owner said with an attitude "we dont take cartridges back". I said you are charging 150% more than I can get it online. He said "you should have went online first". I am a small business owner and I'm trying to wrap my head around his business philosophy. He charges more than DOUBLE the market price for an item and he wants his customers to go the internet FIRST before they come into his store. I'd be out of business if I tried that! If it had been $5 more or even $10 more I would have let it go because, as I said, I try to support local businesses when I can. But 150% more than market price is just ROBBERY. He tried to tell me that I might have dropped it and damaged it but any sane person could see that it was still in its packaging unopened and not damaged. He also had a "screw you" attitude that I didnt care for. I understand that I am not a plumber going in there and buying big ticket items but I was a customer and if he had done the right thing he wouldnt be getting this review! I would have given ZERO stars if I could!

Not a good experience. The plumbing part given me would not work and they would not take it back or give a refund. I went back and he told me never to come back to the store again. How RUDE!!!! I found the exact part somewhere else and it worked fine. Kuhn's was a nasty experience and I will never go back and will tell all my friends to never go there either!
