Longest three months of my life! I contacted them just before Thanksgiving to have a tankless water heater installed. I was informed that I would have to get my own electrician and contact the gas company myself since they don't subcontract. I did that the very same day and contacted the installer to let him know. Since he knew all those folks he said it should go smoothly. There was no communication from the company about when work might begin. So how can I have a propane tank delivered and set up without knowing when the work is supposed to commence. Finally in February the unit gets installed. However, he can't do much more than mount the unit since he is still waiting for the propane tank and subsequent inspection. After some aggravation dealing with the propane company, I manage to get a tank delivered. It can't be filled, however, without the city doing an inspection. I get the city by a couple of days letter to green tag the setup, but now I can't get the propane company to come back and fill the tank because they are occupied elsewhere. I call another propane company, and they can't fill the tank because they need the tankless unit to be hooked up. The plumber won't hook it up until the tank is filled. About a week later I get the propane company and plumber to my house at the same time to complete the work. I'm thinking that at last I got the job done. Not so fast. That work was completed on a Friday. The following Saturday morning I go to do laundry and find that I have no water to my washer. Think I can reach the plumber on a Saturday??? Not on your life. Numerous calls to his cell phone from both myself and the company answering service have gone unanswered. This is a small town, and most contractors really don't care since there isn't much competition here for any contracting needs.
