We got Johns number through a friend after plumbing catastrophe in our home. The main drain was clogged and the washing machine was draining into the bathrooms and overflowing. My wife first called drain rescue who tapped on the pipes and advised us that they were full and that the cast iron piping must have collapsed. He advised that we had to excavate the front yard, destroy our front porch to unclog and replace the pipes. We also had to dig the foundation to replace the pipes that lead into the house. This would take 3-5 days during which time we would have no water. The cost...$5800.00!! After few calls to friends I spoke to John. He advised that there would be no way of determining that unless the pipes were drained and scoped. John showed up a few hours later. Within 20 minutes he has drained the pipes, fixed the clog and had the whole house up and running. He scoped the drain and discovered that our pipes were in amazing condition and definitely did not need to be replaced at this time. He was kind, courteous and genuine and charged us a fraction of what Drain Rescue wanted. Thank god for honest tradesman, he will have mine and all of my friends, family and associates business from now on. Awesome!

First time I called ARC was for a burst pipe in our house last winter. John himself came and found the source of leaking and repaired is as soon as possible. He is a very nice person and I would always recommend his service to everyone. I always have a hard time in Toronto to find an honest contractor who would provide a very good service and you can be certain he doesn't overcharge you for anything. Since my first call I have no hesitation in calling them again. That includes a replacement of two water heaters, for which I had to call John twice after they installed them. John came ASAP to fix the heaters' connection even though I had problem with electrical connection, which was not related to plumbing of water heaters.
