Honestly it’s the worst service I have ever experienced. I wish I could give a “no star†rating. I invite the owner to please reach out to me.
Had an emergency service call to their dispatch person to get a main water valve leak addressed. Initially, the guy was great...told me to get the City of Calgary to turn off the main water supply to the 21 unit condo complex, and then call back so that a plumber can come over right away.
So, the City comes and turns off the water to the whole complex at 2:45pm. I called Prostar at 2:15pm as soon as I heard that the City was now coming to turn off the water. I was instructed to call when the water is off, because they didn’t want to send anyone if the water valve could not be closed off...fair.
Here’s where things go south, I was promised 30 to 45 minutes for a plumber to be on site to change the valve. After 45 minutes, I called again to confirm that a plumber was en route. Still waiting, so after 1 1/2 hours I called the dispatch person again. Still waiting so I called again at the 2 hour mark.
Finally got hold of the plumber who decided he would have to cancel the service request because I should have been “more patientâ€.
Had to call another company who was glad to help us and very understanding (Reliance Plumbing).
What should have been completed in maximum 2-3 hours ended up taking 8 1/2 hours because of broken promises and lack of integrity.
I will let you decide on whether you are willing to take a chance and call them for your next plumbing service, I assure you that I won’t.
