They seem to do a god job with our AC/heat pump installation. The installers explained what they were doing and how long it should take. They picked up after themselves which isn't always the case with all vendors. The unit works fine with no issues. Now for the not so good. They up-sell to no end, Their free inspection came up with rewire all of the electrical outlets in out 10 year old house which with the explanation "it's to code, but we prefer to use the screws in the side of the outlets" Now for the bad, we scheduled a maintenance visit after our installation the tech was supposed to arrive between 1-4 pm, so took a vacation day. I got a call at 1:30 saying they need to reschedule, â€œthey are too busy and fell behindâ€. I wasted a vacation day waiting Michael and Son, no show. Rescheduled for 2 weeks later same window. Reggie shoes up at 6:15 pm another wasted vacation day. He was more concerned about selling me the support contract than anything else. I donâ€™t know if will use them when my other unit needs to be replaced. It started of good, but went downhill after the install.

When our AC wasn't working correctly, I sent a late night email to Michael & Son, with whom we have a Home Care Agreement, and first thing the following morning we received a phone call to schedule a service visit that very day. Steve G. came to the house as scheduled and had to give the unfortunate news to us that our AC unit needed replaced due to a severely leaking coil. This news was especially hard to receive given our unit was less than six years old, but Steve was very thoughtful and empathetic in delivering the news to us. He helped us arrange for Sean D. to come to the house the next day to discuss replacement options with us. Sean D. arrived as scheduled, went over the information, and gave us several options from which to choose, without putting any pressure on us whatsoever. Sean D. was also very kind and empathetic to our issue, and I feel like he helped us to make the best choice possible for our particular situation. Sean D. was able to arrange for the installation of our new unit for the very next day, which was a godsend given the scorching temperatures in the forecast. Noble and David arrived as scheduled, promptly installed our new HVAC unit, and went over the specifics of the equipment with me. Noble and David were polite, hard-working, respectful of our home, and also very kind in light of our unfortunate situation. Noble and David stopped by the following day to perform one last task and to make sure everything was operating smoothly, which we greatly appreciated. We were very pleased with the all-around excellent service we received from Steve G., Sean D, Noble, David and everyone at Michael & Son. They made a very hard pill to swallow as easy as possible, and we truly appreciated it!

Mathew Hathaway did a thorough electrical inspection in my house and provided clear explanations about safety issues that need to be addressed. He was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and overall extremely helpful and pleasant. I opted to get a whole house circuit restoration and other safety upgrades. Mathew was able to schedule the work very quickly and even started the same day. He did an excellent job.

Extremely satisfied with Michael and Son services. Kevin the plumbing technician was on time and efficient with getting our tankless hot water heater back up and running.
