I SEE THE RATING IS 4.2. HAVEN'T PLAYED HERE IN A LONG TIME, MY ONLY TIME, BUT I KNOW IT CAN'T BE 4.2. LAST TIME I PLAYED HERE IT WAS THE WORST LAYOUT AND CONDITIONED COURSE I EVER PLAYED IN MY LIFE. GRANTED THERE ARE SOME NEW COURSES AROUND THAT WILL GIVE IT A RUN FOR THE MONEY IN THIS AREA BUT I HAD TO POST JUST FOR SOMEONE TO KNOW IT SHOULD NOT BE RATED A 4.2

We were so lucky to have picked Springbank as our wedding venue. Great location for both ceremony and reception, beautiful scenery and an amazing staff. The event planners (Kevin and Jackie) were so accommodating and helpful from day one, and all throughout worked hard to ensure everything was taken care of and that we were happy and comfortable. The chef and catering staff were so attentive and did a great job. Our guests had lots of nice things to say about the venue as well as the food. We couldn’t be happier with our choice, thank you for a wonderful experience!

**Editted Again** never heard back from them after they asked me to edited my review *EDITED* Springbank is under new managment and has reached out to us to make up for our bad experience. We got married in July. Grady ( event manager) always seemed to be in a grumpy mood that even guests commented. He didn't even show up for tour he was suppose to give us. I should have taken that as the first clue not to get married there. The worst part is that after everything was finished we paid and left and a month later I get an email asking for payment. We paid the night of the wedding! I explained that we had in fact paid and that I could send him credit card statements as proof. He said it must be an error on their end and he will figure it out. Now almost 4 months later again they are asking for payment. I can't believe how unprofessional they are. The only reason we chose this venue was for the view but it ended up raining, we couldn't even use the gallery for our ceremony. I wish I never choose springbank links.

Summary: I would return to the course if it was priced in the $60-$70 range with cart, definitely not worth the $105 weekend rate in current conditions. Course layout and design is awesome, definitely unique. However, for the price paid I was expecting the conditions to be much better. Lots of dead grass and hard ground to be found throughout the tee boxes, fairways, rough and even on most greens. Above this, upon check-in I inquired at the clubhouse about a demo driver. The staff there was good enough to let me take one out, but it wasn't until after I checked over my receipt to find that they charged me a $10 rental fee for the demo club, never have I ever paid to demo a club at a course. Lastly, once again for the price paid, no GPS in the golf carts is disappointing. There are many blind tee shots and second shots on the front 9, making it a bit dangerous considering there is no way to tell if the group in front of you has moved on or not. We found ourselves constantly driving up and down the fairway to check if the group ahead was complete. Typically this is avoided by a good cart GPS system which indicates the location of carts in front of you. This can be found at many public courses with lower green fees than Springbank.

We had our wedding at Springbank links and had an absolutely amazing experience. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. Our guests had lots of compliments on the venue and food. Thank you for everything. Photography by Rafal Wegiel
