The Old Course gives you a chance to see the surrounding big beautiful houses and the ocean. Beautiful views! There's a snack cart that drives through w/food & booze

Wow! That's all I really need to say. I played the Ocean Course and it's by far the best course in the Bay Area. A true links course that's wide open. I haven't played Pebble, but I'd say it's a cheaper version based on what I've seen. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all in spectacular condition. It's not overly challenging unless the wind is coming off the Ocean, which is usually the case. If you go early, be ready to see the fog cruising through the course. It's absolutely beautiful.

Amazing golf course views but typically resort delays. They don't have a driving range which is another ding. They do have a great area to putt and chip. The restaurant and bar are a plus. The real reason to come and play here are the coast line views. From the tips, this is a hard course. The greens run slow, but have quite a challenge. You will use every single club on this course.

Half Moon Bay Golf Links (Ocean course) rated 4-1/2 stars: Right alongside the Pacific Ocean, and next to the Ritz-Carlton hotel, Half Moon Bay offers two distinctly different golfing options. The more inland and parkland Old Course remains a popular layout, but for full-blooded seaside links golf, the Ocean Course emulates the best coastal offerings of Britain and Ireland.
