It's Whistler. What more can you say. Playing golf or an amazing course in the mountains.

Outstanding service and what customer service should be, not a customer explanation department. Employees are empowered to make decisions and are well trained. I'd give more stars if I could.

I love mountain courses and I was greatly looking forward to trying this course. I'm very torn about this course. There isn't any parking as far as we could see however valet was included with our stay at the fairmont (I normally wouldn't do valet but nice I guess). Showed up about 45 minutes before our tee time to warm up to find out that there isn't much to warm up with.... two nets and a chipping green. The first 5 holes are cart path only only as are the last two holes. The carts themselves are super high powered but old school gps (no maps, just an analog display with front mid back readouts). Fairways are chopped out and there are minefields of beaver tails. Many of the tee boxes are spongy, not flat or devastated by divots. We golfed two rounds back to back and nothing changed over the day. Thought this was unfortunate for a $200/round venue. The greens ran great and were fast and challenging. Food, coffee etc were good. Staying at the fairmont allowed us to have unlimited golf for the day and we took advantage of this and had a good time. However if we would have paid full price for a single 18 I'm pretty sure we would have been disappointed, which is honestly too bad. The staff were amazing but the course is just sub par for this price range. I guess there is a lot of demand because of "Whistler", too bad. To give some perspective on my review I'd say my favorite courses are Silvertip (Canmore), Greywolf (Panorama), Predator Ridge (Vernon) and Tobiano (Kamloops).
