What a treat it was to play a round of 18 today here. This is a beautiful course tucked into the lush green canyon side. If you love to golf and see nature, then this course has a variety of wildlife on display. In fact, there were 5 deer on the 1st tee box, and dozens more off in the distance. The greens are challenging, and the fairways narrow yet forgiving. The staff was friendly and let us tee off early. This place is worth every penny and I can't wait to return.

This is such a great place, that happens to have a golf course on it. Nestled at the base of the San Gabriel mountains, in La Verne CA. The rather large deer population roaming the course, is totally at ease and give you enough room to play thru. Lots of Hawks, woodpeckers and other critters running around. The Golf course is well kept, and challenging, friendly staff, and there is a very relaxing pace of play. Beer cart around just when you need it, I loved the whole experience ☺☺☺☺☺

Nice course. Tough greens so bring your best putter. If your a wildlife fanatic this is the course for you. On hole 18 t box we counted no less than 15 deer within 35 yards of us. Had to chase them off on several holes because we didn't want to hit them.

I had my wedding reception here back in 2003, and it was simply the most beautiful place ever. The staff was amazing an very easy to work with. Let us come up the day before to set up. I still 15 years later keep being told that my wedding reception was one of the most beautiful ones anyone has been to. And I Thank Marshall Canyon Golf Course for making that Possible.

Greens are fair to good. Too many deer. Need a manure spreader on holes 7 and 8. Estimate 100+ in the herd. Lots of debris on the course. Driving a golf cart is similar to four wheeling in wild country. Every golf lane is busted by tree roots
