Played in a tournament, format was Shotgun scramble... we played the Ocean North course. I didn't pay anything as it was a work related event. A couple small but major issues, the carts don't have GPS or maps... they do provide a range finder, but there are no maps or layouts... and this includes the scorecard. How is there no maps or course layouts anywhere??? Since we were a tournament we had no caddies and everyone in my 4-some had never played here. 3 times we went the wrong direction after finishing a hole... and 3-4 holes you can't see the flag/green. Hole 5 is a prime example from the tee box, amazing ocean views, but were is the green from the tee box? For $320 a round these issues should be addressed. Put GPS in the carts... I've played a $30 public course with GPS in the carts. Put the course layout on the scorecards... for out of town guest that is a souvenir or reminder of the great course. The views are 5 stars, course condition was 4+ stars, food was 3 stars and pricing 3 stars. I should score this course 4 stars, but all the minor issues add up. Come on $320 and you can't provide a map or gps in the carts... or a layout of the hole at the tee box... or directions to the next hole???
