Horrible HORRIBLE place to golf. Owner is stuck up and very rude. The fairway is so bad and patchy.. Would not reccomend this place to anyone.

Edit: Sept 21 2017 Owner responded to my google review as per below. DO NOT fall for this as some sort of management team that cares. I followed up and sent an email as per their instructions. They did not respond. I figured it was maybe lost, sent a 2nd email to follow up, nothing. They are simply responding to google reviews to make it seem like they are doing things for their customers. What an incredible scam. It upsets me that people will actually think the management team at GA really cares, when they don't. You've lost a long time and local customer. Very disappointed in your tactics. My colleagues and I have played at Green Acres a few times as it is a local course close by. We were viewing the rates online and noticed a twilight price of $24 per player at 5:30 tee times. We called in to book our foursome and asked on the phone "the price is $24 per player correct" the agent said yes I think so. We got to the pro shop, and it was unattended, we waited for 5 minutes and someone finally showed up. We proceeded to pay and to our surprise it came out to $32 per player. We asked the staff working there isn't the rate $24/ player like it showed online. He said "that's the price if you book it online". We told him we saw the price online and we didn't know there were 2 different rates, we also confirmed with the person on the phone about the price. If we knew there were 2 different rates, we would have booked online. He then said, "well you didn't". The pro shop member had an extremely poor attitude. The course was NOT busy. From a customer standpoint, we should have expected something like this. Not the first time Green Acres has tried to nickle and dime us. DO NOT play in the winter or when it rains. Drainage is extremely poor and honestly not worth the discount. If you're in the Richmond area and want to play a nice twilight course, go to Mayfair, rates are similar to Green Acres "online rates". I would not recommend players come to Green Acres unless you want to be treated like a 2nd class customer

We have had our work Christmas party at this beautiful location for the last 5 years and there are so many reasons!!! Their servers are extremely polite and quick to the draw, never an empty glass and empty plates disappear like magic!! Great prices for an amazingly awesome meal! And the bar is well stocked (and inexpensive)! We always leave happy and full :)

This course is an absolute mess. To say it has patchy fairways is a massive understatement. The best lies you can find is in the rough. Basic course maintanance isn't done. Never playing there again.
