Since Penny took over things have improved and the variety is better. Good for a quick pop in and eat sandwich or soup or burger. A diner style setting within a golf club. They have some on tap beers and that is always worth mentioning.

The course is a venerable treasure of varied lies, of hallowed holes - the Club a unique enclave of sporting companionship that, as Rushdie says - "..teaches us who we are."

Great ruben sandwich for a late lunch. We ate on the deck looking over the golf course. Friendly staff and good value, not much more you can ask for.
