First tournament of the year was a ton of fun. Weather could have been better. But staff and players made it fun. The food was awesome and the course was in great preseason condition.

My wife & I participated in the Guns N' Golf tournament today; shotgun shooting first then 18 holes of golf (in a scramble format). It was a blast (both literally & figuratively)! There was a good turnout, it was well organized, juicy burgers & crisp fries for lunch & great prizes. We had a little bit of everything in the weather, light rain, sunshine & strong gusts at different times during the day. In fact, one gust blew the windshield out of our golf cart; had to laugh at that!🤣 Hope they do it again next year. Mark, thank you and your crew for all your hard work putting this together.

I live in Whitefish Montana and go up to plan this course a couple of times a year. It is generally empty. Empty when we start and empty when we leave. We come up in the spring, summer and fall. This past weekend my assistant made a tee time for 4 and as it turned out we had five. This had previously been accommodated easily in past. When we arrived we were told this could not happen. My playing partner and I were about to go to the first tee when a gentleman whom did not introduce himself came out and essentially yelled at me and my partner. The rest of our group left and went and played at Wilderness. I understand the issues of accommodating 5. As it turns out the tee time behind us had only 1. Instead of working it out with us he alienated 5 local professionals whom support the course when it is not busy and whom have an opportunity to refer others to the course. Instead of a nice day of golf, it was a disappointment. And, by the way, there are courses in NW Montana whom accommodate 5 all the time.
