We stayed at this hotel on our road trip from Calgary to Vancouver. It is situated in a very picturesque place and all the rooms face the Kooteney Lake. Very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was amazing with waffles, omelettes, sausages, bagels and breads. Of course cereal and very nice coffee too. The rooms were spacious with clean, comfortable beds. But our coffee machine was dusty. (Only in our room though. Our friend’s room coffee machine was clean) Bathroom was clean and had a tub. They have provided towels and toiletries. But toiletries were not same brand. As a family owned business they are doing very well but few glitches here and there. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again if we had a chance.

Says it's a resort and spa. what spa? The hot tub outside? The breakfast was pathetic, and they kept running out of the small portions they would bring out and guests would be standing around waiting for food to arrive. The rooms are mediocre for a resort and there aren't even any phones in the room. Some rooms are adjoining rooms and they don't have locks on the doors.. I wouldn't consider this any kind of getaway. Just another spot to stop and sleep for the night on your way somewhere actually nice. If you're a golfer sure why not but for anything else, it's pretty lame. Not impressed.

Clean, cosy comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff, beautiful surrounding scenery, enjoyed the hot tub, free breakfast, next door to the golf course, close to Ainsworth Hot Springs, Nelson, Kalso and Provincial parks for daytrip activities!

Decent looking with great view but not clean... Stunning view, but we were definitely disappointed...the "spa" is just a plain hot tub, not to disappointing if you are planning to go to the hot springs. We checked into our room and left for the day, got back and decided to take a shower, the ceiling in the shower has yellow spots all over that looked like they would start dripping if it got really steamy in the bathroom. The light by the bed was also caked in dust and grossness. Worst part of the whole experience was when I went to take a drink of my coffee, out of a paper cup that was supplied in our room, I notice there was lipstick on it...not sure who is in charge of cleaning around there, but they are doing a pretty sloppy job of it!!! Definitely wouldn't waste my money here again!

Very nice rooms; clean and spacious. The staff is really friendly. We were staying here for Ainsworth Hot springs so we did not get explore their golf course or hot tub.
