My husband and I had our wedding reception at Bristol Harbour this past fall. Our special day turned out absolutely perfect, and the staff and night manager were beyond friendly and accommodating. However, the only issues that we had throughout the entire process had to do with the owners. Normally I would not even mention anything, but the owners definitely do not budge or care about you at all -- and I know I have heard this from others as well. We had the ballroom until midnight, but 10:30 PM came along and everyone had to evacuate immediately due to extra golf carts setting off the carbon monoxide detectors. Some of us went to the bar inside the restaurant once everything was checked out and we knew it was ok, however I found it extremely unprofessional and it was disappointing that most of us had to pay for our own drinks and snacks, when we still would have had open bar in the ballroom if there was not the evacuation. My parents helped out with our wedding, so when they contacted the owners the following week and mentioned what happened, their response was, "well we bought you six drinks at the bar." Really? I will not mention exact prices, but price per person/guest was well over $100, and they think that paying for six drinks makes up for losing an hour and a half? Again, I want to say that the staff and managers that worked our wedding were absolutely WONDERFUL ( and several of our guests mentioned the same thing). It is the owners that are greedy and seem to not care at all about the people that are spending a ton of money at their establishment.

Don't miss it, stop when in the Finger Lakes or make a special trip to enjoy Bristol Harbor Lodge & Golf Club. We stopped into the bar for a drink, but ended up staying to eat. Wow, the food was amazing. Oh and by the way, the lodge has one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen looking down Canandaigua Lake and hills. Have not played golf on their course, but friends make a regular trek from Rochester to play it and rave about the views.

Fabulous golf club. Spectacular views of Canandaigua Lake from the restaurant and hotel.

Was just there for golf but the staff are always nice and welcoming to new comers. The cafe right in the pro shop makes it easy to grab a quick bite before the round or at the turn. Beautiful course, challenging greens. Gotta love a Robert Trent Jones track.

Great location, picturesque, and super place to stay, the lodge or the duplex condos. Conveniently located to Bristol Mountain ski resort.
