Upon check-in I was not informed of a boil water advisory, and it wasn't until I'd settled into the room and realized I needed something from the vehicle. As I re-entered the hotel, I happened to note a sheet taped to the door that outlined this in very small text.Â I then went to the front desk to ask for a bottled water, and was informed that the hotel has none!!Â A BOIL WATER ADVISORY AND I WAS NOT INFORMED EITHER AHEAD OF TIME BY EMAIL OR AT CHECK IN...... FURTHER NO POTABLE WATER ON SITE FOR GUESTS.Â This is a truly unacceptable method to deal with guests to your hotel. I certainly understand that circumstances can lead to a boil water advisory being issued. However the apparent lack of concern by the hotel management in not informing or making preparations for guests, coupled with an utter lack of interest by the front desk staff is utterly unacceptable and potentially dangerous

Last time my wife stayed there, was with our 15 yr old son, and our newborn daughter. Booked our room as we have in the past. With no problems. I could not attend, as I was working at the time. There was some sort of miss communication. Decision by management was to kick out my family in the middle of winter after a 4 hour long bus ride to get into town, with children (A FRICKEN NEWBORN!!!). Sorry, Iâ€™m still upset about the whole situation and handling of the issue. Long story short, everything was settled with a couple of phone calls and they were allowed to stay. No apologies from staff or management. No nothing. Said it once, and I will say it again, NEVER AGAIN. Oh, that and friends of our have seen mice.
