Played Wyncote mid morning yesterday, no golf course in PA is in great shape this time of year, but I was surprised how much they let people beat up the course and not repair divots. For the price to play the course it's time to ditch the 30 year old carts and get some sand/seed bottles on them and at the tee boxes to fix divots. The course itself is very cool and different, but it was beat to hell because nobody fixes ball marks. The only thing that really annoyed me was the gentleman working in the pro shop - I came in with a group of 10 customers on a miserable golf day when they will be slow and he couldn't have looked more annoyed to talk to me. He didn't know what was paid for and tried to tell me I had to pay for range balls for every person until he re-read his notes, then didn't apologize for the mistake. Pretty bad impression he is giving new customers to the course.... I will go back when the course is in mid-season form to see it again. Course is very cool, the people, not so much.

Wyncote Golf Club is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Pennsylvania. This open parkland and links-style layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. A must play if you are in the area.

Awesome course, definitely one of the nicest public options in the general area. Always in great shape, greens are quick, and it can be very challenging under certain conditions. The layout is unique versus Other courses around, and if you do some planning you can get good deals on tee time booking sites. I noticed a few bad reviews regarding the restaurant with no mention of the course.... it's above average compared to the bar/restaurants at comparable public venues, but you're definitely coming here for the golf experience primarily.

One of the best courses around the area (including private clubs). Greens are always true and usually quick. Sometimes they leave them a little longer but that's probably due to weather and pace of play. Owner does not put up with slow play, so if you require more than 4 hours (which is crazy if you take that long) go somewhere else or join a private club. I've seen the owner refund slow groups and kick them off. Nothing worse than going on a birdie birage and then waiting 20 mins before your next swing. This is not an easy course and can be very difficult with the wind. It can also be very scoreable with how true the greens are. The restaurant is great and offers typical pub food with a casual atmosphere. I highly recommend this course to the avid golfer. Do not recommend to 20+ handicaps...you're in for a long round and could lose a few dozen balls.

Super nice, but challenging course for women. A bit longer than most at around 5400 yards.
