I do have to say the staff is amazing they’re all very nice very tentative and very polite but their rooms have to be upgraded. The beds and mattresses feel like there are 20 years old the bathroom the actual toilet bowl was moving, the sink was not draining properly. Just wish they would upgrade their beds and bathrooms. Oh and I just remembered, their pool and jacuzzi( old old old) there are tiles that are missing from the wall of the pool. Other than that the resort is great. I’m giving three stars because of their staff if not they would have gotten 1 star

Looking for the best place to do my daughter's sweet 16 was very difficult but thank you to Shawnee for their ballroom which made it work and it came out more beautiful then we could of imagined. I want to especially thank Jasmine the event coordinator she was there to help us every step of the way, you can tell she truly cared about us and made all our request happen. Also for the servers and night staff that was assisting us during the party I wish I would of got your names but you all did an amazing job all of my guest were so happy with the service and my daughter is very thankful to you all. If you need a place and person for your event go see Jasmine and she will take great care of you.

Very pretty, even in the winter months. They have a spa, pool, restaurants. You don't have to leave the grounds for the amenities. You would only need to leave if you wanted to go hiking. Mountain view is really nice. And it is very peaceful. Great place to relax. The only thing I recommend is to stay away from the hash browns at the breakfast buffet. When I was there is was undercooked and tasted stale. Other then that, perfect place for peace and quite for families or couples.

Gorgeous Place!! Perfect for weddings, vacations with the family, and romantic getaways. The place is always clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is incredible! There is lots to do in the surrounding area of The Poconos too! This is definitely a must see place!! :)

Grandiose building with tons of history Comfy bed Nice clean rooms Amazing breakfast Nice course with good greens Great customer service As noted by others, an older building like this, the walls are not thick. Could hear the room next to ours into the night.... Despite a sign indicating they are green and advising that only towels left on the floor will be changed, our towels that were hung up to dry were changed for our second night. It's an unfortunate trend of hotels to claim to be green yet, for some reason waste water even if we don't want them too. :( I'm hoping that soon the hotels will trust their customers who want to save.
