Was a nice course at one time, new owner has totally screwed it up, more worried about trying to build condo's which will make a bunch of the front nine holes a bunch of mickey mouse par 3's and 4's. Has put no money into the course since he has bought it. Now there is no carts, only the front nine is open, no greenskeeper and no one there knows how to turn the irrigation on, so in no time the greens will be burnt. Such a shame, one the most mature, challenging courses in the area that has been destroyed in such a short time by a owner that has no clue and no interest(so it seems) to run a golf course.

We like it everytime. Could use some shorter holes. Unfortunately the back nine closed today from downed trees. But can't beat the price, $15 all you can play!

Real hidden gem of a course. Good risk reward holes and clubbing options. Accuracy very rewarded so if you hit off the planet this course eats strokes. Price reasonable and course doesn't book tee times 6 min apart like other area courses so pace of play is usually excellent. Highly recommend.

In the past years this golf course and its facilities and its staff have been a gold mine to golfers and around the area. It is not long but there is water, tight fairways and wildlife to see! If you can play Bear Creek, you can play anywhere. Unfortunately, lack of monies, memership declining, club house/restaurant not available and very limited promotion the course has not attracted new & former members to join. It is sad to see such an asset decline the way it has. Hopefully an invester will see the great potential that Bear Creek Golf Club has to offer Strathroy and the surrounding area. I have been a member since 1968. This is my golf course and I am seeing it dying. Sad.

Didn't golf there but we had vehicle issues they let us use the parking lot to stay didn't have my clubs or I would have played. The folks who worked there are awsome folks hope to get back some day for a round Thanks fellas
