Very positive experience. Had a problem getting a particular shoe delivered from another online retailer and was playing golf the next day. I called Capital Golf to see if they had it in stock, it wasn't in the store at that time but I contacted their customer services on the advice of the employee and they had it delivered to the store within the hour for me to collect. I thought maybe they'd charge some kind of express delivery fee for it but no. Staff in store were friendly and they also have an amazing stock of clubs.

Great selection of high end golf brands and generally nice people in the shop. I discussed buying a G-fore hat in store and was pretty shocked to see it was £5 cheaper on the website. I am hoping the sales assistant just got it wrong.

This is a review specific to the online side of Capital - I have never visited the shop but after my experience of dealing with them over the past couple of weeks have no intention of doing so. Ordered a pencil golf bag - not a huge amount of money but still circa £140. Order was accepted and received an email saying that the order was in their system. Couple of days later received an email advising that the order had been cancelled. No explanation as to why. In response to my email querying the cancellation was told that the bag was a display model and was damaged - this was not made clear when I ordered the bag and I was under the impression it was a new bag. Also told that new pics of other bags would be sent together with some reduced prices. Heard nothing. Sent a chasing email. Heard nothing. Sent another chasing email. Heard nothing. Finally sent an email saying I had no intention of buying anything from Capital and that they should expect to read a less than glowing Google report. Within 5 mins I finally got a response via email accusing me of trying to blackmail them with the threat a bad Google report. Absolutely amazing. My advice is not to get involved with Capital on any online sales. They miss sold the item by not stating that it was a display item. Their cavalier attitude on cancelling the order was just bizarre. And when you try to make contact they completely ignore all emails - unless they think you are trying to blackmail them...

I've been to this store several times. I have to ask for the price for every item which I find embarassing. They don't have price tags on their products and seem to quote seeing the customer. Most products are overpriced because it's oxford street ? They don't do tax free for tourists. Overall experience was never tourist friendly in this store.
