i think it was a great place but my memory wiped i think after a white object hit me in the face and golf clubs surrounded and whacked me

Municipal course that is well worth trying out. Was initially built on old tip so drains very well and is playable during the winter when other courses around are waterlogged. Not a long course but plenty of trouble on lots of holes so requires straight hitting. Front 9 played around a lake and 8 to 11 have the Lee (OOB) running down the left. Can hire buggy for £10. Very reasonably priced green fees.

I have had the pleasure of playing this course for a very long time since in fact it grew up from 9 to 18 holes! I have played on many courses around the world and have had no more pleasure or challenge so I will recommend it to you without worrying about any disappointment for you or,come to that, an easy nett par walkover. A small friendly club was formed some 43 years ago and still exixts and invites you to join us for a visit, why not give it a try, we even have buggies now so contact the course or the Club Leaside GC and play golf.
