Chambers Bay Golf Course: Of the modern generation of American links golf courses, Chambers Bay is as authentic and thrilling as they come. Now a U.S. Open Championship venue, this wonderfully expansive layout is built in a large former gravel quarry. It sits directly alongside a railway (all the best links courses do!), overlooking the spectacular South Puget Sound. To the west, stunning sea and island views abound. Just go out there and enjoy one of America's great links golf courses, and the breathtaking South Puget Sound views that come with it.

Chambers Bay is an amazing feat for a golf course. However it is a super tough, rigorous fight of a golf course as well. It is definitely made for a true professional or a close to scratch golfer. Coming in as a 14.6 handicap I struggled mightily and walking made me think more and more about how bad I really was, haha. Played 3.17.2018 and the new greens on 7, 10, & 13 were AMAZING. Only thing to me that was a downgrade and why I gave it 4 stars was when we played it I only counted 5 (FIVE) tee boxes that were level, which was honestly disappointing. I will be back once all the greens are finished and again if it ever has the honor of hosting another US Open.

This place was better as a gravel pit than a golf course! Traffic around this area is horrendous, and slow. Widen the roads to allow more cars to get through! Take the course out. It is not needed! Waste of tax dollars!

The course is gorgeous but the greens are a mess. I believe over the next few years they are redoing the greens three at a time. Currently this course is just way overpriced for what it is. The three greens being blocked off and overseeded ( with Poa I believe) look absolutely beautiful. Until they are all done I wouldn't pay more than half price. The vistas are gorgeous and the challenge is great. Good golfers will be rewarded and punished at the same time. Find a deal and re-live the same frustration had by the world's best!

I attended a wedding here. It is a nice venue with the ability to sit your guest inside and outside. The view is amazing. It's a great place for a sunset wedding. They offer catering, can't say much about the food I didn't get a chance to eat. Open bar for about an hour then cash only bar.
