Just played there for the first time 27 Mar 18. What a great course. Difficult but fair. Every club in the bag type course. Greens are challenging and in great shape. Slopes and undulations but not ridiculous. Hills! Holes play much longer than they are. Vistas! It's just as nice as Presidio GC in SF without the price. The staff are super friendly. Also the cleanest public clubhouse and restroom I've ever seen. It's cool that the employees and maintenance folks take pride in preserving the oldest course west of the Mississippi.

INFESTED with mosquitos!!! Definetly bring mosquito repellent. Glad I experienced the course however, if mosquitos are not your thing.. you may want to play at a time of year when they aren’t swarming. Also if you don’t hit a nice straight ball every time you may find yourself in the bushes a lot(like myself). I found two ticks on my body after getting home. Other than that... nice course for being the oldest west of the Mississippi.

Good layout but poorly managed. Expect un-even tee boxes and dry spotty fairways with inconsistent greens. It is a typical so so public course but over priced. The views of the bay are the best attributes.

I enjoy playing here. Nice staff, low key, and friendly. The course seems to be in better condition than last summer. It is a challenging course with some amazing and very unique views of San Pablo Bay.

I've only used the driving range so far. Beautiful views of the water. Oldest golf course West of the Mississippi. Plenty of Naval history here...used to be a Navy base. NO drivers on the range, only irons and hybrids. Worn mats over concrete for teeing off at the range. Employees all seemed interested in something else, like their iPods, instead of customer service. Facilities a little dumpy.
