Hands down fastest way to improve your golf game. Instruction is great and with the technology they have, there is no guessing about what you are doing vs what should be done. So your lesson time and practice time is focused and effective. I've taken lessons from both Tom and Josh. Both are excellent. Just read the 5 star reviews.

I started getting more serious about golf within the last 1-2 years. I was debating signing up for one of the week-long golf schools to improve my swing and technique. A friend recommended Tom at NorCal Golf Academy instead. This was by far the best choice and has been the best investment in my golf game. Tom is an extremely patient and knowledgeable teacher. He leaves you feeling like each lesson is customized just for you. And because I am more of a visual learner, everything is presented in a way that appeals to my learning style. I'm hooked and have now signed up for a year-long membership program.

This is the place to go if you are serious about improving and want to put a lot of effort into the process. I have had an extremely positive relationship with Tom for the last year, and I think Kjerstin (who leads the physical training) and Rebekah (the other golf pro) are both great, too. My game has improved significantly and I am much more consistent than before. I would give 5 stars except the program isn't for everybody.....they place a high emphasis on physical training and fitness, so don't go if you just want to swing golf clubs without working out; to get the most out of the program, you'll have to invest significant time and money (this isn't a place just to drop in for a tune-up lesson or two); and there is a substantial technology component to the training which isn't for everyone. That being said, give it a try and if you are willing to work hard you will improve your game substantially.

I'm a 70 year old single digit who has taken lessons from lots of instructors over the years. Tom Rezendes at NorCal Golf Academy is by far the most up to date instructor in the Bay Area with the latest equipment. I drive 90 minutes for my lessons as he's really the only one who does what he does. If you haven't worn a K-vest, or used some swing analysis software, you haven't understood what it takes to make a professional swing. Using his tools and understanding the golf swing Tom can make you a better player. If you are interested improving your game I can't encourage you enough to take some lessons from NorCal Golf Academy. You won't be disappointed.

I started playing golf in 1993 when my two boys now 20 and 23 discovered the game and fell in love with it. They both played on the High School team and currently shoot in the 70’s and 80’s while I was shooting 115 or higher. We all love playing together, but I needed to improved. I have taken traditional lessons with little to show for it. I started with the Par program and worked with Tom. The killer combination of Tom’s great instruction, and the instant video and K-vest feedback help me understand the golf swing and make sense of it. Before Tom I really had no clue what I was doing with my golf swing. If I had a bad shot I didn’t know how to correct it, or a good shot how to repeat it. I now understand what a good golf swing looks like and more importantly what it feels like, and have a foundation to build on and improve. My scores are now in the 90’s and improving with each round. I highly recommend the program and particularly if you’re a beginning golfer or a hacker like me. If you have any doubts about the program drop in and have Tom show you my before and after swing. If that doesn’t convince you of the improvement that’s possible nothing will.
