Deer Ridge Golf Club rated 3-1/2 stars: Deer Ridge provides an enjoyable and challenging round of golf, with the best holes saved 'til last. This very natural and undeveloped grassy canyon, is accompanied by a creek, ponds and wetlands as it makes it way smoothly and gently down into the flat and wide expanse of the San Joaquin river delta. A fabulous finish to an enjoyable, well-presented, pleasantly undulating, though not overly long course.

It's easy enough to get a tee time here. The staff are friendly and helpful. Although there is a practice facility it is not a full driving range which is disappointing. The layout of the course is great, interesting not boring. The fairways need help. Not the best condition bit the greens are usually good. The snack shop is almost always closed by the time we are finished, even when it doesn't seem late. When all is said and done, this is my go to golf course right now. The price is right too.

Love this golf course. Fairways and greens are excellent. The only complaint is pin placement. On occasion the pins will be cut where the ball will roll back towards your original put and off the green. Total mini golf feel. And this was on 3 different holes. I Hope the greens keeper never wakes up that upset again.

This was a very disappointing round. We were 3 foursomes deep on every hole. There was no Marshall on the course. It was a 6 hour round then to top it off we decided to have a beer after the round at 5:15 and the bar and restaurant was already closed.

The golf is great, but for residents around the golf course life is horrible. Golf balls fall all over breaking windows, roof tiles, backyard furniture, and even car windshields in the surrounding streets.
