Best greens in the area. Boy, do they roll! If you cant putt well, or lack finesse around the greens, this course will add 10-20 extra strokes to your round. Fairways are well maintained, and they roll well also. A local club member told me the monthly rates are under $200 which is well worth it if you live in the area. Looking forward to my next round there!

First, no houses around, in the middle of nowhere; this is a plus as it is quiet like golf should be. Fairways are very good condition; ball sits up nice; the grass is green and tight. Par 4's vary; three favor a draw, 2 favor a fade, (about 45° turns; you must shape it as the trees are high) the rest are long and straight. Lots of 50-60' oak trees lining the fairway. Greens are poa ana. They are slow like you would expect, and very smooth. Great rolls! I think these are the best poa ana greens I have ever seen. They are not soggy soft. Lot of room between holes and your not getting bombarded. Eight is odd as there is a 45' tree 60 yards in front of the green. 9 is also odd as there are large oaks on the fairway about 100 yards from the tee box. All sand traps are kept nicely. Club members should be proud. From the best courses to the worst I admit 4 star is generous. But let's rate a course with price in mind. With that said it might be 5 stars. Very nice old fashion course. Black-6422 yds. Par 71; 4 par 3's, 3 par 5's. 71.9/125 Not going to rate staff or food. Both were fine.
