This course deserves 5 stars for the price. Despite being a budget course, its fairways and greens are still reasonably maintained. We went on a Friday afternoon and literally didn't have anyone behind or in front of us the whole day. The course is straight and short with fewer hazards than most, making it a good place for a quick game. I was concerned that this wouldn't even be worth playing on, but ultimately it was perfect for us, and as much as I could expect from an inexpensive course.

I've been playing here for over 20 years. It was and still is the best value in golf in all of Sacramento. The gentleman who works in the pro shop is the nicest guy and is an absolute class act. They keep the course in good shape, and it's definitely a challenge. You won't regret coming out here for a relaxed, fun round of golf.

Fun course, par 63 with some really fun holes that you can birdie if you can get your driver or your short game going.

(See Jun update)Resturant cannot serve customers with grill off most of operational hours. Need a food/drink cart on course all days. Resturant is clean but not appealing to customers needs if grill is off. Seems like manager is ready for retirement, the heck with customer needs. Update June 2017>Restaurant under new mgmt. A big plus. Pro shop still a class act, customer service, instruction, cleanliness, affordable, course looking better on a daily base. Kudos to all the hard work.

Very well kept. Nice greens. Great staff in the pro shop.
