Great course! Brad Bell (course designer) has built some really nice, fun and VERY well regarded golf courses in the area. In reference to a prior post about brown fairways, Bermuda goes dormant in the winter. They’re not dead from lack of water, they’re dormant from colder temps overnight. Bermuda goes dormant when soil temps drop below 50*. There are a number of very nice courses in the Sacramento area with dormant Bermuda. Northridge CC is a great example, those fairways are as brown as the Nevada desert every winter and there’s no amount of water that would make them brown (just ask the members). Golf isn’t just mindlessly hitting a little white ball and going to find it, it also requires you understand the course (and grass) you’re playing on.

I like Teal Bend a lot. It's a challenging golf course very close to the airport. For beginners, however, I wouldn't recommend coming here, because they schedule tee offs fairly tightly and are quite strict on time. That combined with the challenging course makes it tough for those just starting off. The area and nature here is awesome though.

Best house in Sacramento esp during the winter where all the rain water drans really well! Great conditions year round. Each hole is unique in its own way.

Greatest golf course around. I play it every chance I get.
