The course is nice. It was in good shape when I played. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable with ample parking. The range leaves a bit to be desired. The mats are old and worn. They charge $5.00 for a small bucket of range (35) balls. Bottom line: If you’re in Davis this is a decent place to play golf.

The course is awesome and the staff is great. The only reason I'm leaving a 3 star review is because of the driving range. The mats are shot to the bone and they charge $13 for a large bucket of balls. Maybe with the steep charges for range balls they can upgrade there mats.

One of the worst courses for the money. Staff is rude except the kitchen, good food too. Nothing but grumpy old rich people hitting into you and stealing balls. No cart girl on the weekdays... I come from Sac to play but never again, many other courses that are cheaper and better value. Unbelievably terrible service all the way through do not recommend playing here

Golfed there last Thursday in a tournament. Sand was thin, dirt patches in the fairways. But It is a public course. So, not too bad. But the 19th hole was a major problem. Management has decided to go with the post no beer prices policy. You have to ask the price of each beer if you want to know. I complained to the person behind the counter about this being a restaurant and should have a menu that includes beer with prices and he said it's not a restaurant it's a golf course. So, take note, wildhorse golf club does not have a restaurant. Oh, Derrick Coronado, The bartender told me they were all different prices.

I really enjoy this golf course. The holes are challenging and it doesn't feel cramped like other golf courses. Plenty of par 4s and 5s to have a good time. The arrangement of the course is nice too. I did stop for a snack after the 9th and also found that their clubhouse deli had some pretty good food. Overall, I had a really good experience here and it was worth the price.
