Monterey pines is litterally the best deal for golfers in Monterey. Why pay the big guys outrageous prices when you can play a very decent course for half the price?? Seems like a no brainier to me. In all seriousness, though, for the price you pay, you get so much. Course upkeep is superb. Some holes feature nice views of the bay. Beer is cheap. Golfers and staff are super nice. What more could you ask for? I would say the only con about this place is that the course isn't very challenging. It's pretty flat and open; however on the flip side, it is very walkable. Happy golfing!

It’s a fun while challenging course, truly a gem at Monterey. Super friendly staff and humble starter. We had a fun day with a local and a guy from Chicago. Not crowded and good timing . Driving range, chipping and putting green are all available. Highly recommended course for a relax round.

This is a rather short course so if you are a big bomber you will over power this course. Fairways and greens are always in great shape
