Spectacular Golf Course overlooking the ocean. One of the nicer courses on the peninsula. The views from upstairs are quite nice, and the food isn't too bad. If you're able to get in a round of golf (assuming you remember or know a member) the course is quite nice, and it's a great experience playing this close to the ocean. If you're wanting to get in a round of golf in the area and have the ability to come here, this course is worth the stop.

This private golf club (open to members and their guests only) is home to two excellent oceanside, links golf courses: the Shore and the Dunes. The Shore course is rated one of California's finest layouts, perenially included in listings of America's 100 greatest courses. Separated by a small row of sand dunes from two other great Monterey courses (The Links at Spanish Bay to the north and Spyglass Hill to the south), the 36-holes at Monterey Peninsula occupy some of the best oceanfront golfing terrain in the United States.

The Golf Course is on one side and the ocean is on the other. Absolutely breathtaking views along 17 Mile Drive. We even had a picnic with the family with the waves crashing. Loved it.

We enjoy many of the menu items at Denny's. This particular one we have been to a number of times over some years abd suffers from very spotty service. We had to make our server last night aware that what we wanted was actually on their menu; and even then she failed to bring the Roll that was supposed to accompany one dish and also claimed that Denny's doesn't actually serve unsweetened /unflavored tea. Coffee went cold with no refill.
