Monterey Peninsula Golf was such a pleasure to work with. Curtis was very helpful when my tournament did not get the registrations we were hoping for. My group went from expecting 30+ golfers to having only 14 actually register. Curtis worked with the facility we were playing and was still able to get us a shotgun start on four holes, range balls, closest to the pin, long drive contest and custom carts. They really made our small group feel right at home and all 14 of them had a wonderful time, including me. Thank you Curtis and Monterey Peninsula Golf for a wonderful event.

Great rates, great service. I’d recommend MPG to anyone looking for a premier golf experience on the Monterey peninsula.

Dear Curtis Thanks for organizing our stay at Pebble beach resorts. The inn at Spanish bay was totally awesome and my wife and I felt like royalty from check in to check out. The whole procedure was seamless and organized to perfection. Golf for me at Spyglass and Pebble beach was just amazing and an experience I'll never forget. Thank you so much for all your efforts, it won't be our last visit, Already thinking of August next year.... I'll be in touch Many many thanks Best regards John Jary

I'd give ZERO stars if I could...following is a note I sent to Curtis Roman, their Director of Sales after they "misquoted" me by $10,000 for a trip out. Curtis, I think we are going to go another direction...I have a really hard time swallowing another $500 per man and eliminating both Spyglass and Spanish Bay, AND going from 4 rounds down to 3 when we're coming 3/4 of the way across country for this trip . The accomodation change isn't a big deal...but the golf is. I'm sure those other two courses are nice, but to me they would be complimentary courses on a trip out there, not 2/3 of my total rounds on a Pebble trip. I can play courses just as nice as Nicklaus Club and Carmel Valley Ranch and not have to travel 2300 miles to do so. As I said before, I'm not looking for something for nothing, but I also stand by my opinion that a $10K jump on a $16.2K initial quote (a 62% difference!!) is unacceptable when I clearly stated my request and we exchanged no less than 11 emails about the trip. I was willing to basically split the difference between $16.2 and $26.2 by asking each guy to pony up some extra. I would have expected you to eat a little cost on your end too, and still try your best to meet the course requirements I was looking for. Going from Pebble, Spyglass, Spanish Bay & the Nicklaus Club to Pebble, Nicklaus Club and Carmel Valley Ranch hardly shows a willingness on your part to keep a potential customer happy given the magnitude of your mathematical error and/or negligence to fully understand my request. My experience with this whole thing and with Monterey Peninsula Golf has been poor at best. I was really looking forward to coming out there, and based on recommendations I thought I had contacted the right company. Would have been nice to know what I was looking at financially from the start. I will be letting people know of my experience, you can count on that. Good luck to you.
