I am extremely pleased with my results from using the Somax hip trainer. The product is simple to assemble and the instructions for learning the proper form are very clear. My goal for using the hip trainer was to improve my tennis. I’ve played tennis my whole life and currently play 3 times a week at the 4.5 NTRP level. I am always searching for ways to improve especially as I now approach age 50. The Somax drills and exercises have significantly increased the speed of my hip rotation. I was able to double the number of my speed turns in 20 seconds from 20 to 40 and believe I can increase my hip speed further. As a result of more mobile and faster turning hips, the kinetic chain of each of my tennis strokes is smoother and more efficient. I am able to hit with greater pace given the more rapid racquet head speed while maintaining better body control and balance. Bob Prichard's concepts apply to all sports which translate angular momentum to linear velocity, and I have found Somax principles useful in helping my teenage sons with more efficiently throwing a football, shooting a lacrosse ball, etc. -- "speed comes from the hips". I am a low handicap golfer who plays golf regularly. I have been trying to improve my golf game for the past 10 years. I love to compete regularly and I play tournaments all around the world. After attending numerous golf academies and devoting myself to hard day-long training sessions, I saw minimal improvement in my golf game. I looked into a different direction and started working out at the gym. I lifted weights, trying to get stronger and bigger so I could hit the ball farther and straighter. Unfortunately, I started losing my flexibility and my golf game went downhill. I started playing the worst golf in my career. Thankfully I found Bob Prichard at the Somax Performance Institute, who with his revolutionary Microfiber Reduction program reestablished my flexibility to the point where I have never felt as flexible in my entire life. The mechanics in the golf swing came easy, as my flexibility proved to be the key to my golf swing and game. I started playing better and better to the point where I could once again play under par. I also saw my distance increase from an average of 290 to 350, while my fairways hit improved from 50% to 90%. And my irons are going straight to the flags. I was particularly astonished with the amount of time it took. It only took a total of four weeks with Bob, compared to years of instruction and working out in the gym. I only wish I would have done this earlier in my life. As a low handicap golfer, I can definitely recommend this program to any level golfer. Bob has a great feel for working with people and really understands the body and the golf swing.

I am a Czech tennis coach and purchase a Power Hip Trainer from Somax Performance Institute. I played some qualification on ATP challengers when I was a junior and I have to say from player's view that the speed of my serve and my groundstrokes was the biggest problem with my game. ATP pros is playing much faster. I have been using the Power Hip Trainer since 2014. My shadow forehand swings were before about 65 mph, after only 2 workouts on Power Hip Trainer my top forehand swing is 93 mph now. My top service speed was 113 mph, after only 2 workouts on Power Hip Trainer my top service speed is 125 mph! I had been taught for many years that going to the gym and lifting weights would add some add mph to my serve and groundstrokes. I found minimal results and I did not notice any improvement in my service and groundstroke speed after a couple of years. While players like Federer and Nadal are able hit 110 mph forehand and players like Roddick or Raonic 150 mph serve. So how do you increase racket speed? The answer is pretty straightforward. The first method to increase racket speed is to optimizme stroking technique. Besides technique there are exercices and drills you can do to increase your racket speed! Train with Power Hip Trainer! The faster you swing the racket, the faster the ball flies and the more powerful your shots become.
